Conference Update
Thank you to all who attended STAAR 2023 Conference! Our first year back since 2019 felt like a long-awaited family reunion. It was wonderful to catch up with old friends and to make new ones. We had 104 participants, 26 vendors, 47 dog handlers, 78 dog volunteers, 16 intensive hands-on workshop labs, and 7 incredible instructors over a 4-day period. It felt so good to be back and we hope the feeling translated to everyone who was able to join us. See you next time!

No other conference provides more practical, hands-on experience than STAAR. In 2019, over 80 dogs participated as volunteers for STAAR workshops. Practical experience on live animal patients is critical for learning skills related to rehabilitation and physical therapy.
