Begin the day with a guided yoga and meditation session designed to restore focus, calm the nervous system, and gently energize the body. This morning wellness experience offers attendees a grounded transition into a full day of learning, connection, and thoughtful conversation. Suitable for all levels, the session emphasizes mindful movement, breath, and presence to support clarity and sustained engagement throughout the conference.

  • Lisa Franey

    Lisa brings over 40 years of experience in yoga practice and has been instructing for 16 years. Her teaching methodology incorporates a variety of styles and techniques, reflecting a comprehensive approach to yoga. She guides students in using yoga to enhance their awareness of mind, body, and spirit. Through the integration of meditation and breathing exercises, Lisa helps individuals develop skills for self-regulation and relaxation. The asana practice she offers promotes strength, balance, and flexibility, supporting safe and confident movement in daily life.

    Lisa holds E-RYT 500 and YACEP credentials from Yoga Alliance, with 500 hours of Certified Yoga Teacher Training and an additional 200 hours in Yoga Therapy. She delivers Hatha Yoga instruction at multiple proficiency levels, including Chair Yoga designed for seniors. Her teaching portfolio also encompasses Wheelchair Yoga for those with paralysis, Restorative Yoga both on land and in aquatic settings, and yoga on Tsunami Balance Boards in the pool.

    Lisa has extensive experience working with cancer survivors and individuals in addiction recovery.
