TITLE: Functional Movement Assessment and Finding Performance Deficits Before They Become Problems or Injuries

DESCRIPTION: In this lab, participants will learn about the basic locomotor movements and their application to the lameness diagnostic workup. They will also learn the basic factors of canine performance as they apply to all athletic and working dogs. It will culminate in how to use this information to help identify musculoskeletal faults early, prevent injuries, and potentially improve canine performance.

- How to identify movement variances
- Understand the musculoskeletal factors of movement and mobility
- Learn the basic factors of canine performance
- Develop a process for assessing the musculoskeletal structure in general and its role in canine performance
