Flying to STAAR

For most attendees flying to New Jersey, we strongly recommend Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). It is closer to the Hilton Parsippany than either LaGuardia or JFK and generally provides the easiest airport transfer.

Airport: LaGuardia Airport (LGA)

Distance/*Time: 43 miles / about 1 hour

Airport: John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

Distance/*Time: 54 miles / about 1 hour 10 minutes

 

*Drive times are estimates only. New York/New Jersey traffic can significantly increase travel time, particularly during weekday morning and evening rush hours.

Getting From the Airport to the Hotel

Because the Hilton does not operate an airport shuttle, we recommend Uber, Lyft, taxi, or a prearranged car service. Rental cars are also available at all three major airports, although attendees staying at the Hilton generally will not need a car for the conference itself.

If you have a choice of airports, choose Newark (EWR). LaGuardia and JFK can certainly be used, but both require traveling across the New York metropolitan area and can involve considerably more traffic.
