Join us for the inaugural STAAR Equine Conference, presented in collaboration with EquiLearn and in partnership with Veterinary Academy of Higher Learning (VAHL). This landmark event will take place

in October 2026 and held at the prestigious USET Foundation in New Jersey.

 

Featuring 9 professional wet labs (36 CEs, RACE-approval pending) and 4 hands-on labs for owners, riders, and trainers, STAAR Equine offers an unmatched learning experience.

STAAR Equine Conference offers two concurrent programs:

1) Veterinary and Allied Equine Health Professionals Program

2) Horse Owners, Trainers, and Riders Program

Each lab includes 3-5 horses, and is limited to 15 participants to ensure personalized instruction and meaningful interaction.

Professionals Program - wet labs:

  • Equine Stifle Rehab and Strengthening - Non-Pharmacological Approaches

  • Evaluation and Management of Neck Pain and Dysfunction

  • Developing a Therapeutic Exercise Plan From Stall Rest to Performance

  • Systematic Approach to Movement Analysis of Horse and Rider: Addressing Soft Tissue and Joint Integrity Through the Use of PT Intervention

  • Case-Based Workups: Lameness Evaluation, Dynamic Gait Assessment, and Rehab Planning

  • Proprioceptive and Neuromuscular Activation Exercise for Rehabilitation

  • Learn How to Effectively Add Kinesiology Taping to Your Practice

  • Equine Kinesiology Taping Level 2: Joint Support, Neurological Relief, and Integration

  • Targeted Bodywork Techniques: Evidence-Informed Strategies for Immediate Application

Owners, Trainers, and Riders Program - wet labs:

  • Recognition of Equine Asymmetry and Overview of Management Strategies

  • Return to Sport: Bringing Your Horse Back Safely From Injury

  • Soft Tissue Mobilization, Stretching, and Activation Techniques You Can Use on Your Own Horse: Neck and Front Limbs

  • Soft Tissue Mobilization, Stretching, and Activation Techniques You Can Use on Your Own Horse: Back, Haunches, and Hind Limbs
